Hello and welcome to my blog. I’m Yaya behind Randomly Yaya. Yaya is just a nickname because I rarely share my real names, unless you meet me in person. No, I’m not in the witness protection program, I just have a dual (two) first name, so Yaya is much easier to use. And if you say both my names really fast, it kinda sounds like Yaya.
I am a single, East Coast girl (whose hardly home, but always reppin) with Mid-West roots. I eat everything from fried fish and spaghetti to New England Clam Chowder and cannolis. I LOVE the New England Patriots (I truly go hard for my team) and the Lakers. Equally as important as my love for the Patriots is my love for margaritas, chicken, lamb and lobster. I know this sounds really simple, but I have a weakness for chicken, especially chicken wings. If I could eat them every day, I would. More important than my love for my sports team or food, is my love for God. It keeps me balanced in everything I do.
I’m addicted to traveling and thankfully my 9-5 job as an event planner for an amazing company allows me to travel and explore cities across the U.S. I actually go through plane withdrawals if I’m not hopping on a flight at least once a month. I am also serial entrepreneur; which basically means I love to create new businesses or help others create a business. When one business doesn’t work, I’m thinking up the next idea. I hope to share my experiences and struggles as an entrepreneur starting and growing a business. I recently closed my online boutique called R’Belle Boutique and I am now working on developing a lifestyle brand that I am extremely excited about. This lifestyle brand embodies everything that I am and everything that I love, so I am hoping this one is a winner. (More deets on that later)
I also taking online classes completing my bachelor’s degree and I work a part-time job at a gym. I figured if I actually worked at a gym, it would be more motivation to go there and work out. My life is busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. As a foodie, I not only love to try new restaurants, but also new recipes at home. You can explore my countless food boards on Pinterest here.
I am a very “keep-it-real”, super-honest-type-of-person. As I get older, I am really trying to apply the bible principle at Colossians 4:6, “Let your words always be gracious, seasoned with salt…” But that is not always easy. Prayer does some amazing things though.
Please feel free to email me any questions, comments or ideas you just want to share at firstname.lastname@example.org. Get social with me! I am on most social media platforms as YoSoyYayaR and usually will respond unless you say something wrong about my team. DON’T DO IT!
