Yesterday I finally realized that I HATE running. Seriously, it’s not fun to me. As I started out on my run I was thinking “Why did I ever start running? What made me think that running a 5K was a good idea?”
The fact that I had forgotten to put on my compression sleeves, creating pain in my shins, just intensified my hate. But although I hate running, it’s a necessary evil that I have to learn to deal with. For now. Why? Because running is perfect for interval training (for me personally). After my first lap I thought I was going to die, but I pushed through and ran 1.5 miles. Now if only I can get my breathing down properly, I might be able to run farther without the pain in my throat.
Now that we are starting to experience warmer weather in the DMV, I really want to increase my workouts
and runs. I definitely use some of these tricks to take my workout to the next level.
Tomorrow I am starting starting this 21-Day Arm Sculpting Challenge. I HATE my fat arms and I would love them to have a toned look this summer. If you wanna get in one challenge, you can find the deets here. Let’s hope by April 6th my arms are looking a little less flabby.
