Today was definitely the opposite of last Monday. I woke up and was not feeling it. Didn’t want to get out of bed, but somehow I still managed to throw on my workout clothes and run. It was probably the comments from two of my Twitter followers getting on me because I decided not to run yesterday. Sunday is my off day. SUE ME!
Today was supposed to be a hardcore workout day, running in the morning and Zumba toning and regular Zumba this evening. My Zumba partner flaked on me (forgot her workout clothes). I’m still going to hit up Zumba and make it through both classes. I think I’m starting to get obsessed about the calories I can burn working out. Two Zumba classes is 1000 calories. (Insert happy dance here)
The pain in my shins is lessening so that’s a good thing. So my goal this week is to continue my 5K training and improve the time it takes me to run a mile. We’ll see how that goes.
