Today is World Health Day. This year’s theme is food safety. I’m all for food safety because the last thing I want is to get sick from a foodborne disease. The World Health Organization (WHO) put together a Five Keys to Safer Food Manual. The manual is a little lengthy, so if you want to skip to the good stuff, head to page 11.
One of my favorite tips, which I definitely use while I’m cooking is: Use separate equipment, utensils and cutting boards for handling raw food. In my kitchen I have one cutting board for meat and one for veggies. No contamination here. Seems practical, but you would be surprised what people do when they are cooking. Can’t eat off everyone.

So let’s talk about that Arm Challenge that I posted here and was supposed to be finishing up today. FAIL. But you know that saying, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, again!” After starting the challenge, I realized that I didn’t have the right weights at home to complete the challenge. So I decided to restart the challenge this past Friday. This time I WILL complete it and I will have better looking arms come the end of April. I’m also trying to increase my workouts per week and making it a goal to work at 3-4 times a week. Since I work part-time at a gym, it shouldn’t be that hard. Right?
This morning I set my alarm for 5:30 and hit the gym for a quick 45 minute workout. Hopefully I can make this a habit. Hopefully
